What’s New for the 2024 BMW iX?
The BMW iX debuted in 2022 as a captivating option in the automaker’s growing line of EVs. It offers standout styling and delivers an exceptional performance on the road. This is an all-electric, two-row crossover that is appointed with elite finishes and features across its two trim levels. As a relatively new addition to the BMW lineup, the iX has changed between its 2023 and 2024 versions.
The electric motor systems in the 2024 iX are identical to the systems in the 2023 version. However, the battery can now be preconditioned independently in 2024. The iX’s base trim, the xDrive50, features a two-motor engine with a 324-mile battery range. It puts out 516 horsepower. With the advanced M60 trim level, you can benefit from a 288-mile range and 610 horsepower. The two systems have all-wheel drive.
The brilliant exterior design of the 2024 BMW iX is comparable to the 2023 model year’s styling. This EV crossover is comparable in size to the popular BMW X5 crossover. It is undeniably unique on the roadways with its contemporary, edgy style. Over the otherwise smooth sides and fenders, the iX displays a crisp accent. The nose is equally modern, with sharp, triangle-shaped air intakes flanking the drop-down, kidney-shaped grille. Above the deep air vents, the stunning headlights are segmented for individuality. Exterior equipment available with the 2024 iX are laser headlights, up to 21-inch wheels, soft-close doors, and a panoramic sunroof.
All of the premium features offered in the 2023 BMW iX are also found in the 2024 iX. The base trim level offers a lane departure warning, parking sensors, a heated steering wheel, ambient lighting, heated front seats, synthetic leather seats, and wireless connections for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Suppose you opt for the top 2024 iX trim level. In that case, you can also take advantage of an interior camera, an internet hotspot, massaging front seats, heated back seats, automated parking, heated door panels, and a Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
