Introducing the M35i xDrive trim level marks a significant change for the 2024 model year. Equipped with a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing 312 horsepower, this trim level also features high-performance brakes and an adaptive suspension system. Meanwhile, the powertrain in the entry-level X1 xDrive28i remains unchanged, boasting a 241-horsepower, four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine paired with a seven-speed auto, dual-clutch transmission.
The new X1 M35i xDrive exhibits a distinctive exterior facade: black exterior trim, quad tailpipes, a sportier grille, and more prominent front air vents. Overall, the 2024 BMW X1 boasts an eye-catching design with a tall profile, a short and angled nose, and deep, well-defined contouring. The front end features a subtly squared-off interpretation of BMW’s traditional kidney-shaped grille, complemented by tall lower fascia and L-shaped air intakes.
