Enjoy Art at the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild Winter Members Show – BMW of Elmhurst Dealer

The members of the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild will show their latest works at the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild Winter Members Show. The exhibition takes place at the EAG gallery from Feb. 4 through March 19. At BMW of Elmhurst, we encourage our customers to come out and view the exhibition. It’s an opportunity to get acquainted with artwork from some of the talented artists who live and work in Elmhurst and the greater Chicago area.

At the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild Winter Members Show, you’ll discover the work of many area artists. The art in the exhibition represents a variety of styles and media, including paintings, collages, photography, digital art, sculpture and ceramics. Paintings in the show include “Come Around Sundown” by Jennifer Myers, “Village Along Lake Maggiore” by Lynette Hoy, “Midnight Messenger” by Dorothy Bury Shaw, and “Marazmyth” by Colleen Zana.

Most of the art on display is available to buy. Charlene Lee Freislinger, President of EAG, urges the community to support local artists. “There’s a lot of new and exciting work from our members,” she says. “Most pieces are for sale. Think gift giving!”

The nonprofit EAG gallery is run under the auspices of the Guild. Members come from a variety of backgrounds, including educators, professional artists, self-taught artists, printmakers, corporate art directors, animation artists and more.

An opening reception will be held on Feb. 11 from 7-9 p.m. At this time, the show will be juried. The reception is free to the public.

The Elmhurst Artists’ Guild Winter Members Show runs from Feb. 4 through March 19. The exhibition is open during the Museum’s regular business hours:

• Wednesday-Thursday: 12-5 p.m.
• Friday-Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Elmhurst Artists’ Guild Gallery is located inside the Elmhurst Art Museum at 150 S. Cottage Hill Ave. in Elmhurst.

Admission:
The EAG Gallery is free to the public. All visitors are must wear masks.
