The system features an eight-speed auto transmission as well as your preference of all-wheel or rear-wheel drive. There is also a new plug-in hybrid system available in 2024. This is a 483-horsepower system with a 40-mile range on all-electric power. The most powerful engine available for the X5 is a 523-horsepower, turbo V8 system with all-wheel drive. This engine also combines with a sport differential, a sport-tuned adaptive suspension and other mechanical upgrades. The 2024 X7 has two trim levels with distinctive powertrains. It shares the 375-horsepower, turbocharged V6 engine and the 523-horsepower, turbo V8 engine that are offered with the X5.
Appearance
For 2024, the X5 displays an updated exterior with sharp, sophisticated design elements. Over the sides, you will find a tall, chrome-accented vent with cascading contouring over the sides. The front bumper is dressed up with a metal-framed grille and poignant air vents. The kidney-style grille turns upward slightly on the sides, and the double-elemental headlights have a dark, dramatic look. The 2024 X7, on the other hand, is a larger vehicle with a flat roof and deeper sculpting across the doors. The grille is narrow and draws attention to the linear design of the LED headlights. The bumper and air vents on the nose are equally stunning with a chiseled quality.
Features
As elite SUVs, the X5 and the X7 are spectacularly appointed inside and out. They share features like a wireless hotspot, a premium audio system, customizable LED ambient lighting, heated seats in the first two rows, a wireless device charger, a navigation system, parking assistance, adaptive cruise control, hands-free highway driving, soft-close doors, a four-zone climate control system, a panoramic sunroof with embedded LED lighting and others. The X7 has second-row captain’s chairs, a trailer hitch, massaging front seats, heated and cooled cupholders, and several other high-end features.
