Catch the Julian Chin Trio Live Stream – BMW of Elmhurst Dealer

Jazz fans can enjoy a spring concert from the comfort of their homes when Bethel United Church of Christ presents a virtual performance by the Julian Chin Trio on Saturday, May 1 at 7 p.m. This event, live-streamed from PianoForte Chicago’s showroom, will feature an eclectic blend of popular American songs performed by Julian Chin on piano, Ben Dill on double bass, and Andrew Green on drums. At BMW of Elmhurst, we appreciate the artistry of our local musicians, and we’re pleased this virtual concert is being offered to our community.

Formed in 2017, the Julian Chin Trio is an acoustic group that performs jazz classics and original arrangements. The trio’s founder, Julian Chin, is a well-known performer and educator in the Chicago area. A graduate of the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory of Music, he has established himself as a versatile pianist and keyboardist. He can play timeless piano classics, vintage rock, modern pop and smooth jazz. He is a frequent contributor to Bethel United Church of Christ’s popular Music at Bethel concert series. He also performs at area venues such as Andy’s Jazz Club, the Green Mill, the Beat Kitchen, Bottom Lounge, Martyrs’ and Schubas. In addition to the Julian Chin Trio, he’s a member of the cover band Blue Water Kings and a former member of retro-pop act Elle Casazza.

Music at Bethel has been hosting live concert performances in Elmhurst since 1999. To preserve the health and safety of its artists and audience members, in-person events have been suspended until the fall of 2021. Until then, it will be streaming live concert events and offering pre-recorded performances on YouTube.
