Elmhurst Symphony Presents ‘Baroque Showcase’ – BMW of Elmhurst Dealer

Join the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra as it continues its season of remarkable musicianship with Baroque Showcase. Led by Music Director and Conductor Stephen Alltop, the ESO presents a concert of Baroque music that takes place at two locations in January. The first concert is on Saturday, Jan. 15, at 2:30 p.m. at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook. Concertgoers can also attend a performance at the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church on Sunday, Jan. 23, at 3:00 p.m. At BMW of Elmhurst, we believe we’re lucky to have such a talented orchestra in our community. Elmhurst Symphony OrchestraBaroque music is a style of classical music that originated in Western Europe and spanned from approximately 1600 to 1750. The ESO’s Baroque Showcase will enchant you with musical selections by some of the most well-known Baroque composers, including J.S. Bach, Handel, Telemann and Vivaldi. The performance of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto is underwritten by a gift from Elaine Libovicz.
