Explore Inside Chicago River Architecture – BMW of Elmhurst Dealer

Join tour guide Hillary Marzec for Inside Chicago River Architecture on June 13, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. This free, one-hour virtual tour highlights Chicago’s finest riverfront architecture. The tour will use Zoom meetings and screen sharing to take you on part of a typical Chicago River architecture tour. You’ll learn many interesting facts about the river and the surrounding buildings. You’ll also travel outside the boat, using Google Street View and Hillary’s extensive collection of interior photos, as well as drawings and historical photographs. At BMW of Elmhurst, we think this will be a fun learning experience. We can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning.

Hillary is the owner and tour guide at Inside Chicago Walking Tours. She has compiled many exciting stories, facts, photos and videos of many of downtown Chicago’s architectural gems. Chicago Walking Tours offers visitors what Hillary calls “the second side of the Second City.” The company ranked as the top walking tour company in the Chicago area on TripAdvisor for several years.

Hillary is very passionate about her work. “I feel extremely blessed to be able to do what I love for a living,” she explained. “I find it funny when people ask me, ‘So do you do this full time?’ It’s like they can’t imagine someone having this much fun at work! But I absolutely love what I do: it’s healthy and active, it’s fun and social, it’s creative and artistic…”

Inside Chicago River Architecture runs 50 minutes, with a 10-minute question and answer session. Hillary will conduct the virtual tour from her home, so don’t be surprised if you see a few cats jumping in and out of her lap!
