Introducing the New BMW iX xDrive50 – BMW of Elmhurst Dealer

BMW recently announced the new BMW iX xDrive50. This electric vehicle was designed as a pure electric model. The automaker says the iX xDrive50 redefines its Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) concept. BMW designed the 2022 BMW iX xDrive50 to provide drivers with more than just a way to get from point A to point B. This new EV offers an exciting driving experience combined with all the comfort and safety buyers have come to expect from BMW. At BMW of Elmhurst, we’re excited by this new electric model. The 2022 BMW iX xDrive50 represents a new generation of all-electric SAVs. The model puts out 516 horsepower and features an electric all-wheel-drive system. According to BMW, the iX xDrive50 can make the sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. EPA-estimated electric range is 324 miles.

The iX xDrive50 combines BMW’s latest developments in design, electrification, connectivity, sustainability and digital services. The BMW Group’s years of experience in sustainability played a key role in manufacturing the iX xDrive50. Environmental requirements have been taken into consideration throughout the entire lifecycle of the vehicle, including extracting the raw materials used in the manufacturing process, using renewable sources of electricity during production, and using an extensive amount of recycled materials.

You’ll find many advanced technology features inside the BMW iX xDrive50, including DC fast charging at up to 195 kW, a one-piece panoramic glass roof with electrochromic shading, the BMW Curved Display and iDrive 8, BMW Digital Key Plus with ultra-wideband radio technology, and available 5G and Personal eSIM support. Music lovers will enjoy the Bowers and Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system that features 4D audio.

The BMW iX xDrive50 is scheduled to launch in early 2022. A more powerful iX M60 model that generates over 600 hp is planned for the future.
