Sample Taste of the Town: Food for Life – Elmhurst BMW Dealer
Foodies will want to check out the amazing sampling of food and drink at the 2nd annual Taste of the Town: Food for Life, hosted by the United Community Concerns Association (UCCA). The event takes place on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Wilder Mansion. You’ll be able to sample food, wine and beer from nearly 20 local Elmhurst businesses. In addition, you can watch exciting cooking demonstrations by local chefs. And no event would be complete without live music, provided by the Clay Corso Trio. At Elmhurst BMW, we know everyone who attends will have a great time, so we encourage you to check it out.
While you’re enjoying the food and beverage offerings, you’ll also be supporting a good cause. Proceeds from Taste of the Town: Food for Life will go to UCCA, a volunteer nonprofit organization that supplies food and services to the children and families in need in the Elmhurst Community School District. Last year, the group gave over $76,000 in food and food gift certificates to nearly 300 families and 90 seniors.
Participating restaurants include Cottage Hill Station Kitchen & Tap, Cuvee Cellars, Elmhurst Brewing Co., Francesca’s Amici, Livia Italian Eatery, The Silverado Grill, Whole Foods and more. Last year’s event was a great success, and this year’s Taste of Town promises to be even better. It’s going to be an amazing evening, so get your tickets now and enjoy all the great food the Elmhurst area has to offer.
