Here at BMW of Elmhurst, we’d like to thank the Elmhurst Public Library for hosting this online event, and we’re very excited to see where George and Eve’s artistic aptitude will take you. Along the way, these seasoned musicians will detail the different instruments and music that are native to this region. From Turkey and Greece to Egypt and the Balkan Peninsula, George and Eve will highlight the musical splendors of these captivating areas. As they walk you through the evolution of instruments and songs from past generations, you’ll be wowed by the chronological progression. With their experience hosting workshops, directing music programs, and playing for countless audiences, the Lawlers will treat you to a cultural performance you won’t soon forget.

Together, George and Eve have mastered the art of musical storytelling. They’ve traveled around the globe studying music, teaching their findings, and putting on shows. George, a noted percussionist and music producer, is backed by two decades of industry experience. Meanwhile, Eve is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in playing the clarinet, saxophone, flute and piano. Explore music from around the world, show your appreciation for the arts, and learn about two gifted musicians when you attend the Mediterranean Music Cruise.
