The Limited-Edition BMW M4 Competition x Kith – BMW of Elmhurst Dealer

BMW has joined forces with New York lifestyle brand Kith to create the BMW M4 Competition x Kith. This limited-edition interpretation of the all-new M4 Competition coupe incorporates design elements created by Kith founder Ronnie Fieg. According to BMW, only 150 units will be available worldwide. At BMW of Elmhurst, we’re always interested in the different special-edition models BMW releases, and we believe this will be a stylish addition to the brand’s unique offerings.

Fieg hails from New York and has been a long-time BMW enthusiast. His unique design sense is evident in his own personal classic “E30” generation BMW M3. Fieg also created a one-off special edition M4 Competition coupe that uses his own classic model’s specs and design.

As an exploration of BMW and Kith’s mutual admiration, Fieg has also created The Kith for BMW Collection, which features clothing and accessories that take their inspiration from classic BMW design elements. The collection is available exclusively at Kith’s retail locations. The collection includes 94 styles of apparel and accessories, Kith’s largest single offering.

“Everything we work on at Kith has to come from an authentic place,” says Kith founder Ronnie Fieg. “Some of my favorite memories from growing up came from going to visit my grandfather and riding around in his BMWs in the 1980s. I remember he had an E21 320i and that his prized possession was a white E30 M3. These moments in my life really shaped my passion for BMW, so working on this project with them has brought everything full circle.”

The partnership also emphasizes BMW’s constant focus on the lifestyle, luxury and fashion space, an important area for reaching out to both existing and new customers.

The limited-edition M4 Competition x Kith features many of the design elements found in Fieg’s personal E30 M3, as well as the Cinnabar Red M4 Design Study by Kith. There are also several features that are exclusive to the production vehicle.

The limited-edition M4 Competition x Kith is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six engine generating 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, teamed to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard.
