You’ll Love Music From the Movies and More – BMW of Elmhurst Dealer

Join the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra for its first concert of the 2021-22 season. Music From the Movies and More takes place on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. at the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church. This event kicks off the ESO’s 60th year of exhilarating orchestral performances. It features music from some of your favorite movies and musicals. At BMW of Elmhurst, we congratulate the ESO on six decades of musical excellence. This concert offers our community a wonderful evening of entertainment.

During Music From the Movies and More, the ESO will delight you with selections from “La La Land” by Justin Hurwitz, “Star Wars Suite for Orchestra” by John Williams, “My Fair Lady” by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe, “West Side Story” by Leonard Bernstein, and “Phantom of the Opera” by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It will also perform popular pieces like “The Stars and Stripes Forever” by John Philip Sousa and “Variations on I Got Rhythm” by George Gershwin.

The ESO is led by Music Director and Conductor Stephen Alltop. Music From the Movies and More is made possible by a generous gift from Ray and Sally Allen.

To promote safety, the ESO requires all audience members to wear masks, regardless of their vaccination status or age. Attendees must also sign a coronavirus-related Release of Liability on the day of the concert. The Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church has accessible parking and facilities. Parking is free.
